Esther L. Rodgers, Esq.
Esther focuses her practice in helping individuals, families and small businesses plan and protect their legacies. Her primary practice areas are Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration and Contract Litigation. Her work includes the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, living wills and other estate planning documents for clients of all backgrounds.
Following the death of a loved one, Esther works with heirs, trustees and personal representatives in the administration of trusts and estates, the preparation of inheritance tax returns and the transfer of assets. When conflicts arise, she represents clients in trust and estate litigation.
Esther’s practice also includes a variety of litigation and transactional work, ranging from nursing home agreements to vehicle sales contracts. Her work across these areas is enhanced by prior experience in family law litigation and representing oil and gas companies in title examinations and leasehold acquisitions.
Esther has also been called upon to provide Estate Planning and Elder Law presentations to local businesses and organizations. If you are interested in learning how Esther can address your organization, please contact our office for more information.
Prior to joining Anderson & Labovitz, Esther represented oil and gas companies at a Pittsburgh law firm, where she conducted title examinations, evaluated oil and gas leasehold rights and assisted clients in several large purchase and sale transactions. Originally from Virginia Beach, Esther received her bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in 2013 and her juris doctor degree from Regent University School of Law in 2017. During law school, Esther worked at a family law firm, interned with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and studied abroad in Oxford, England.
Away from the office, Esther enjoys getting outdoors, spending time with her friends and family and being an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
